Real Madrid will be looking to register their fifth consecutive win across all competitions when they host Alaves on Tuesday night.
Mbappe and Co are yet to be beaten in all competitions this season but they are second in the Spanish top flight. That's just one indication of how good leaders Barcelona have been. Carlo Ancelotti's side began their campaign with a draw away at Mallorca and while they responded with a home win over Valladolid on Matchday 2, they could only manage a point at Las Palmas in their next league encounter. Real Madrid have gone on to win every game they have played since, beating the likes Betis, Sociedad and Espanyol in La Liga and Stuttgart in Europe.
Alaves meanwhile have been a delight to watch since their return to the top flight at the end of the 2022-23 season. The visitors finished tenth last season and will be looking to build on that. Luis García's side took just one point from their opening two games of the 20224-25 campaign but having won three of their last four, they will fancy their chances against the champions on Tuesday.
Real Madrid vs Alaves Betting Tips: Over 2.5 goals
While Real Madrid have scored exactly one goal in their two away games played so far, goals have been flowing at the Santiago Bernabéu with the Los Blancos scoring at least two goals in all their four home games and I fancy that run to continue on Tuesday.
Alaves have also been very good when it comes to scoring goals this season. The visitors enter Tuesday’s game with at least two goals from each of their last four outings and bets on over 2.5 goals were lost only once in that spell.
- Best Tip: Over 2.5 goals

Real Madrid team news
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti will once again be without the services of David Alaba who is nursing a long-term cruciate ligament injury.
Los Blancos’ injury list for Tuesday’s encounter also includes the likes of Brahim Díaz (hamstring), Dani Ceballos (ankle) and Eduardo Camavinga (knee) who are struggling with respective injuries.

Alaves team news
Given that Alaves didn’t register any injuries in the win over Sevilla last time out, head coach Luis García isn’t expected to make changes to his XI.
Carlos Vicente and Carlos Martin will reunite in the final third after netting their second and first goals’ of the new league campaign respectively and will be joined in the final third by Toni Martínez.
Hugo Novoa was absent from that game due to a heel injury and Tuesday’s game will come too soon for the defender.
